Process
The original form is hand-formed, then used to create a mould. Each piece is cast in Australian porcelain and glazed in an iron oxide rich tenmoku-style glaze, turning the pale porcelain body a glossy brown, breaking to black where the glaze pools thickest. Subtle variation in glaze pooling and tone is inherent to the process.Made To Order
