Introducing our newest workshop: Hand-build Your Own Aperitivo Set: A Ceramic Workshop at Bloom.
Join us for a fun-filled night of ceramic-making and Italian-inspired aperitivo! In this workshop you'll learn basic handbuilding techniques from Milly Dent, with the idea of being able to make pottery with no special equipment, just some clay and basic tools.
Sip on a delicious Italian vino handpicked by Amelie and Mauro (of Bloom & House Bar Bistrot, Potts Point), while making your bespoke vessels. These will include an olive dish, small plate, and wine cup. You will learn three different hand building techniques and each person will make approx. 3 pieces – it’s a quick introduction into the pottery world.
We will guide you through every step of the process, ensuring that you create functional items that are as beautiful as they are practical.
